Chief Bridge Builder/CEO

My career started in sales, maybe not traditional sales, but bartending/waiting in restaurants until I was given my step-up job into auto parts sales. From there I spent 10 years developing my sales abilities, learning from people who believed that selling was not a goal of only getting someone’s money, but is truly about taking care of people; leaving them feeling better about their circumstances than when they came to me. After years of tire sales, becoming a General manager for a Mr. Tire, I was drawn into the recruiting industry selling the services of a recruiting company, and building my knowledge base about the necessary steps in helping others find staff.
A year into working as a recruitment sales representative I was let go… Out of a job I was met with some hard questions: ‘How was I going to make a living?’ ‘How was I going to take care of my wife and daughter?’ ‘What’s next?’ and in that reflection I took what I knew, sales and recruitment, and sought to right a wrong that had been done while working for my former employer.
An agent, Mike, I had sold a package to had been cut off, and a promise not really fulfilled, so deciding to make things right I created an indeed, dropped job posts, and told him that I was going to make it right and either he needed to set up some times or I was going to just start sending him the 30 people he was owed. In one week, literally an eighth of the time it took my former employer, I brought this client and his company the 30 people he was promised. From there the rest really is history. Mike told others about me, and one of my closest friends, Arben, flew me to Chicago, put money in my hand and a laptop on my desk because he believed in me and that belief was well founded, though I didn’t know it at the time. Slowly I began to build my brand and the brand of Top Tier, one of humans working to find humans, to the point of what it is today.
After about six months of working on my own I brought on my Recruitment Director, Daniel, to help my growing this business. Then more staff steadily came, including my Client Relations Director Jess, and now I have a staff of nine and we continuously crush bringing more than promised, and have created an environment of teamwork and premier services. I have a team of crushers that, three years ago, I would never have imagined having. So, my story is one built out of necessity and grown into success and strength through others.
